The Lost Water Reservoir

As sound specialists, we are constantly challenged and looking for new and exciting acoustic events. It is particularly interesting to listen to things. So to move within a material. Very interesting things always come to light. We recorded the water reservoir in Neu Ulm, Germany with the Geofón from LOM Audio. It has a long ladder to climb up and there we have attached two geofons. It’s crazy how this microphone makes the deep vibrations of the metal structures audible. It’s fun and always opens your ears to listen for new sounds. The Geofón is always sold out, but put yourself on Jonas’ waiting list and grab one when you get the chance.
